Comprehensive, connected care

Specialized Treatment Rooted in Clarity and Compassion

When you or a loved one is facing a brain injury, the path forward should be clear and supportive. We pair thorough, physician-led evaluations with a whole-person approach, so your care plan addresses your physical, emotional, and social well-being, not just a diagnosis.

Our approach

Comprehensive neurological evaluations and whole-person care

We look beyond the diagnosis and partner with you to build a care plan around three connected pillars: brain injury medicine and rehabilitation, lifestyle medicine and wellness coaching, and community-focused support. Together, they address your physical, emotional, and social well-being, not just a list of symptoms.

Brain Trauma & Stroke

We manage the medical side of recovery after traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, diffuse axonal injury (a velocity-dependent injury from high falls, car accidents, or falls from horses, often with a harder recovery), or anoxic brain injury (a lack of oxygen to the brain), including spasticity, swallowing changes, and shifts in memory and mood. Your rehabilitation treatment plan is built around your goals, not a generic checklist.

Concussion Management

When headaches, dizzy spells, or mental fogginess linger past two weeks, we look for what is driving them instead of just naming the symptom. Return to activity is gradual, and your symptoms need to settle first. There is usually no need for bed rest.

Lifestyle Medicine

Sleep, nutrition, stress, and activity all shape how you feel day to day. We pair health coaching with supportive group sessions, weekly for six weeks and then every two months, offered in English, Español, and Português.

Physiatry & PM&R

Physiatry, also called PM&R (physical medicine and rehabilitation), is medicine focused on restoring function, not just naming a diagnosis. Dr. Kopp manages your care without surgery, coordinating everything from medication to your trusted partners in one connected plan.
